Active Berwick Club Forum Up and Running
Active Berwick held the first of their Forums designed to help sports clubs in the borough with funding and development at Berwick Rugby Club last week. Rapidly becoming seen as one of the most successful sporting organizations in the North east Active Berwick have dramatically helped clubs in the town and surrounding area with coaching development and grant applications. Besides helping local clubs with grant advice the evening also showed those attending some marketing strategies to help them boost membership and public awareness of their clubs.

"We are delighted to help Active Berwick by giving our facilities." said Berwick RFC Press Officer Steve Newman "They have been extremely helpful to us in a number of ways from grant application assistance to gaining coaching awards for our volunteer coaches, they are an asset to the town. This is also part of the rugby club's strategy to help all sports clubs in the area with our training facilities. The latest example of this is Berwick Borough Archery Club who were here on Sunday."
