Age Concern
Exercise for anyone 50 years +, Just Turn Up!
The Age Concern Health Development Team have developed a range of exercise classes across the county to suit all abilities of older people. The majority of classes are led by volunteers who have trained to the standard of NVQ level 3 in teaching exercise with the older population.
The classes are aimed at helping people of all fitness levels. They are a low impact dynamic fun exercise routine performed to appropriate music. The exercises will help improve all round fitness. The class format includes a warm up session, low impact exercises, muscle strength and a cool down
Belford - Ferguson Hall, Wednesdays 10am - 11am
Wooler - Glendale Hall, Mondays 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Beadnell Bay - WI Hall, Mondays 10am - 11am
Kirknewton - Village Hall, Wednesdays 3.30pm -4.30pm
Berwick - St Cuthbert's Parish Hall, Thursdays 10am - 11am
Branston - Village Hall, Tuesdays 10.30am - 11.30am
Berwick - Spittal United Reform Church Hall, Tuesdays 10am
