Berwick Town Football Club
Berwick Town were formed as a new club in June 2008 taking over the set up and infrastructure from the previous Berwick Harrow FC.
The new club have been established with one clear goal to provide the best amateur football experience in the town for young footballer's.
The club will initially run two squads in the North Northumberland Football divisions, with the goal to progress in the shortest possible time up through the Northern Alliance.
The playing staff will consist of the current Berwick Harrow squad and well as a number of new players from the East of Scotland with playing experience at Coldstream FC and Berwick Rangers.
Coaching of the players is critical and the coaching staff will bring a range of new ideas and concepts into the development of the squads.
Finally the ambition to provide the best playing experience for amateur football players will ensure that the club will be run on a business like footing. It has therefore also been critical in the set up to ensure a number of experienced football administrators have been invited to help in the design of the new club.
