The Sports Coach UK workshop Safeguarding and Protecting Children being run by Active Berwick is now full. This is very positive as this means that Active Berwick continue to have a positive effect on sport and physical activity in the Berwick area. It also means we are bringing the courses that you, and your clubs want to your door step.
Active Berwick are now in the process of planning which courses to run in 2009/10. If there are any courses you would like to see in Berwick please contact me, my details are below.
During the past twelve months Active Berwick have developed over 80 new level 1 coaches and and more than 15 new level 2 coaches. Over 120 individuals have attended our workshops and other courses. We also have 6 clubs which have achieved Sport England Club Mark in the Berwick area. To enable the continued success of your clubs' and coaches' development it is important that clubs and individuals continue to get behind these workshops and courses so that Active Berwick can continue to offer support to your clubs.
