Wooler Junior Football Club
Wooler Junior Football Club
is a voluntary run organisation to promote the playing of football in the Wooler area for girls and boys aged between 7 and 12.
The Club was established in 1992 and aims to give the children an interest in sport thereby helping them to gain confidence within themselves. The club meets on Monday evenings from 6.00pm until 7.30pm during the school terms at Glendale Community Middle School.
Sessions are lead by six F.A. qualified junior coaches who have been trained in first aid and child development.
Wooler Juniors enters a number of teams into the local Glendale league. The league is based in Wooler and involves several other teams from local junior clubs playing in three different age groups.
The club is run by members of our community for the Community. New players and helpers are always welcome.
